Forums - Politics Discussion - Nemtsov's assassination, who did it...

Did Vladimir Putin have a connection to the assassination?

Yes, no doubt about that! 45 64.29%

No! He'd never go that far! 25 35.71%

Total:70

Anyone with two brain cells could tell you who called it; the one and only Vladimir Putin. I mean lets keep this real if anyone thinks that this isn't true is got to be kidding themselves. Putin was losing to the opposition, and was getting desperate. So like Stalin did he simply eliminates them. He may have even done it himself, trying to go back to his memorable KGB days. But I don't see any media outlets really saying much about it, so I guess we'll have to wait and see. Now it could be possible it had nothing to do with Putin, and if so well good for him! But I mean if it where proven he had a connection, I wouldn't be shocked in anyway! Anyway post your comments below, and I'll also add a poll to see what people think.

Hmm it is interesting. I have no doubt it was politically motivated, lol common sense really. However it could be loyal supporters of PUTIN were fearing his presidency was gone if they allowed the opposition guy more time. Or it could be PUTIN ordering hitman. Don't know

Well one thing is certain, it where not Muslim extremist as Russia tries to tell us. Putin probably did have something to do with it, but no-one can prove it, so if this is the case well done. One political enemy less with no-one taking a fall for it.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

super6646, you absolutely have no idea what's going on, absolutely. I'm sure you never heard that name Nemtsov before. Putin was losing to the opposition. Yet another joke. 86% local support means losing.

Then why was he assassinated? If there's no threat to a leader, why would he be put in his place? Clearly something was going wrong for Putin, so he did what he had to do. Also no I generally am not interested in politics, and your right I never heard of his name till today. But I'm not Russian so I don't care more or less what usually goes on in politics there. But anyway answer it, why was he assassinated? That's all I want to hear.

Recently he was a deputy in the Yaroslavl Oblast duma, he initiated several anti-corruption investigations, due to which some officials and business owners lost their seats/business.
He was killed the day before opposition meeting. I don't think it is a coincidence, but it is stupid to argue it's Putin-Yeah!-Who else? What benefits gives the murder of opposition's leader right before the meeting of opposition? Even more discontent. I don't know who, but I admit that it could be the special agents from Ukraine, for example. Maybe. Not sure of course.

And don't forget that many many people in country regarded him as a traitor. Also he was in favor of sanctions against his own country.

America did this, they are know for making coups and destabelizing the world. See at chile coup
