I think it's pretty well known that there are more Ninty fans than Sony and MS fans combined here on VGChartz!

compare the official threads and you will see that the other two are like much bigger vs the Nintendo one.

More Nintendo threads. Also not all are good. Still alot of what if and doom threads

Because there's more to discuss.
Or to speculate, I guess.

Freak shows attract a crowd as well.

When everything is fine and dandy, there isn't much to discuss.  But when an iconic gaming company makes odd and questionable business decisions, not doing as well as they were in the last gen. etc. its obvious why people want to talk about how to fix things.  The other 2 companies for the most part, satisfy their fanbase so all that's left is the tiresome console war talk.
