Damn, it looks good. Why the game was delayed?

Looks amazing... except the last screenshot. That one kinda looks likes shit.

I got a look at the screens a few hours back on PC Gamer but I have to say I'm a bit diappointed, mainly because looking at the pictures as they are I notice there's a lack of decent Draw distance (the buildings in the backgrounds look foggy most of the time and aren't as detailed), I notice there not being a good amount of AA (notcibily franklin's top pic when you look closely and see jaggies abundant) and the textures on the ground and some areas as well as clothing looks muddy/blurry.

Even though I am waiting to rgab this on PC I can't say I'm compeltely over the moon happy happy joy joy, we've had to wait almost 2 years for what's looking like a port and having to pay full price, the only true unique feature we're getting is the ability to record gameplay (which we can already do anyway for all games), the 4k textures isn't ringing true with my issues listed above, I dunno I just feel like this is R* setting PC gamers up for a ride that's not going to end with a bang, I expected something more than this, I mean I'm psuched about the Witcher 3 and that looks amazing from PC centric devs but it doesn't look like R* have put in the full effort into this, we've had delay after delay and I'm going to guess that day 1 the game with have issues for PC online and offline and the recording feature will probably go to consoles later.

Worst case scenario is that if the game turns out to be a bad port job like GTA IV there's no harming R* from this, they already have their money and more which is what would annoy me because they shouldn't get away with delaying this long and under delivering or fucking it up for the platform that made them what they were.

The game looks slick. Pretty sure it looks foggy because they've chosen to include that as a feature. Either way people who play the game without analysing little details miles away will be satisfied.

I can't wait to see DF's take on this, it'll be late to the party but the details being picked out will hopefully stand above.

I hope it's not 60 freaking dollars D: I already bought it on PS3.

Chazore in this very thread says he's dissapointed.  My reply is directed at him basically saying that when you're playing a game you will be analysing your surroundings not staring at a mountain 5 miles away.
