I just found this fact to be interesting.

Wii has reached its highest market share on the spring 2009 at 48.4%.

PS4 is now about 48.3% and growing. Where will it end?

I think the PS4 ends up somewhere between 45-49. I do not think it can take 50%

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

360 and PS3 both sold well against the Wii. Wii U isn't at all and XB1 is underperforming and will just get worse from here on out so PS4 could eat up more

Actually according to vgchartz current numbers the ps4 had a marketshare of 48.5% on the week ending 1st November 2014... assuming I can use a calculator.

The next week is when the marketshare started going down due to the Xbox Ones holiday sales.

So it's already happened!

Imo, the PS4 can go as high as 55-60% market share during the next few years.

Yep you're right it's 48.33%.

I did say assuming I can use a calculator!
