Would a game based on 30 Days of Night work? What if they made a sequel to the movie in the form of a game?

I recently saw 30 Days Of Night on DVD and really enjoyed it until about the last 15 minutes or so, then it lost me and I felt it had a lame "Hollywood" ending.

The vampires should have dragged the chick and the little girl out from under the truck into the street and just butchered them and...I dunno...do something creepy with the bodies...then the main dude should have watched in horror from where they were hiding...and I dunno...run outside and get butchered too or bitten and turned into a vampire (and I dunno...star as a vampire in the sequel???)...then the vampires disappear...the sun comes up...the remaining survivors are finally safe...and the credits roll...that's how that movie should have ended!

I've noticed that a number of horror games are coming out (RE5, Left 4 Dead, Silent Hill, Alone In The Dark, etc...) and I personally would love to see more zombie scenerios and finally a kick ass scary vampire game, where you have to fight vampires and can get bitten and have to cure yourself (a la Oblivion, but more urgent and "painful"), maybe with weird visions or dreams, and your character walks funny and stumbles around until you're cured...and IDK maybe if you don't get cured, the game shifts into a "darker" game, where you character is now a vampire and you have to feed when you get weak, and you would be able to play all the way through the game with a slightly different experience as a human or a vampire.

That would be a cool game!
