Forums - Sony Discussion - Will Bloodborne be smeared like the Order: 1886? (Opinion piece)

No, The Order was rumored to lack gameplay and be a QTE-fest for months until the gameplay video finally confirmed it. RAD was not upfront about it.

Bloodborne will review as well as its predecessors unless its riddled with bugs.

"So the single player story driven shooter has proven to be worth the price of admission for true SP lovers."

Maybe to you, but not to the majority of people. ~4 hours of total and actual gameplay is not worth $60.  Don't forget about the resused scene for the final boss.  Just sad.

The order doesn't lack gameplay and it isn't a QTE-fest. A video can't confirm something that isn't true.

And the final boss does not reuse a scene. It uses the combat system that they created for melee combat, which appears twice in the whole game.

Again, people who bought into the "smear campaign" should not talk about a game they haven't played.

No because it isn't a completely new concept like the order, so reviewers will be expecting Souls like gameplay with modern graphics, and thats exactly what they'll get. Meta should be 80+ .

PS, PS2, Gameboy Advance, PS3, PSP, PS4, Xbox One

I expect a los of perfect scores for this game. It looks amazing.

Watched roommate play it for a bit, and have read reviews.  Final boss scene is reused, also confirmed.  Just watch the youtube video of the side by side comparison, almost identical.  Lack gameplay as in you are completely limited to what you can do, and the total length of the game.  4 hours of cinematic and 4 hours of gameplay is not a trend I want to start happening unlike the people who defend it.

Did you know that Caps lock kills kittens? Its a proven fact

Anyway, I dont think it will be anywhere nearly as bad as the order 1886... Cause apart from its non QTE filled game, it will have boss fights that will not disappoint as well as many other things and it has online coop I believe.

And anyone that actually thinks it's cause there is a hate on ps4 exclusives from review sites is just drinking the Conspiracy Koolaid

The Order is a mediocre game that was hyped up and it didn't live up to the hype. There's no denying it's pretty, but that's pretty much it. There was a smear campaign against Titanfall and Sunset Overdrive and they ended up scoring pretty high because they're good games. I expect Bloodborne will be decent and will offer so much more. If it's anything like Dark Souls it will absolutely score well and people will like it.

Not possible.
Hopefully it will sell as good. The market appeal for a game like Bloodborne is not big.

Didn't play it

Confims something using incomplete youtube footage

Keeps talking about something as if he played it

Shut the fuck up.

I doubt it. The mood in media seems to have currently shifted to gameplay focus with graphics getting less weight in scoring. Bloodbourne looks to nail gameplay and also looks pretty. I'd be surprised if it didn't score a good 20 points higher than The Order.

Good article, I'm glad people are starting to realize how much the reviews it received were totally wrong.
