Tingle as a palayable character, rumor from GoNintendo.

Nintendo is having some event on the 22nd. It started with a rumor of Metroid news coming that week, which was basically confirmed with this mailbag over at IGN (first responce): http://wii.ign.com/mail/ And now a countdwon to a new Smash site, launching the same time. Barring an embargo, expect big Nintendo news next week.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

You're one of the few, to be sure...

I bought the first game... for the N64. Played it a lot, but never loved it... in fact, never enjoyed it much. Not even sure why.. maybe I just never got into it, or had enough mates also playing it (it never competed with a decent fighting game in my books).

So... even though I bought virtually every GC game under the sun - I never bought Super Smash  Bros. Played the GC version a little, but got the same feeling from it as from the N64 version.

Not sure how the Wii version will go (for me) - but will probably buy it anyway. Have enough non-gamers using our system, and its probably an ideal game - esp. if its online.
