MM is a lot better than Evolve and have a bigger base to sell... not surprising, but deserved.

Ioi rightly adjusted it down by 300k,I think he knows something better than you,if you doubt that...I better not continue my sentence...

Discuss it with ioi,ok? How much 3DS should be on the shelves in your opinion?I know that you will say something really high and I'm capable to contradict it...

Splatoon, really? Xenoblade might be a dark horse and do a lot better than its predecessor on the WIi, SO I won;t count that out. But what makes you think SPlatoonb has the sort of appeal that will make people go and buy a Wii U in significant numbers?

600K first week for Evolve. Not too shabby actually. Legs will be what tells about this game.

3DS in Japan is slightly above GBA, 3DS in Others is slightly below GBA, they pretty much cancel each other out. The problem Nintendo is facing with 3DS is in the Americas, where it's barely over half of GBA in the same time frame. It's the same thing with Wii U where the majority of its decline compared to Gamecube is from the Americas. Nintendo needs to find a way to make their devices attractive to the American consumer again. I'm not sure how exactly they will do it, but it must be done.

So basically 3DS is down to one degree or another compared to GBA everywhere except Japan. They can't do anything about it because of mobile phone and tablet gaming. Simple as that. But if people want to keep dreaming that there is no decline because of mobile competition then they are welcome to their dreams.


Obviously mobile gaming has had a huge effect on handheld consoles but it's pretty shortsighted to say there's nothing they can do about it. Nintendo has made some mistakes and if they can learn from them and create a device with alot of hype then they have a chance to improve next-gen.

Wii U usually in Europe sell 80 or 85% of USA sales.

We have 63,000 in USA for the month of January, that is neary 16,000 at week.

So, Wii U is at nearly 13,000 in EU for the month of January. VGChartz said:

10 Jan: 13,296 (Ok)

17 Jan: 10,987

24 Jan: 9,248

31 Jan: 8,690

This number are very low when we know tha USA sales imo.

Yeah, probabily that now Wii U is overtracked in the US, but even undertracked in EU, so, the WW number are close.

 

Let's say that Wii U will sell  84,000 this NPD (21,000 at week); and 64,000 in Europe (16,000 at week).

Indeed. However, keep in mind that the NPD is coming up soon. ioi should get the numbers out before then for comparisons and to make adjustments. Otherwise, who's how long it will take to update the numbers after the Feb. NPD.
