No disrepect, but I don't think the 2nd largest company in the world has issues with making money.

I really don't understand what your statement had to do with anything he said. He never once mentioned MS's ability to make money. He simply said they were losing money which is bad. I don't care how successful a company is no one in the world is going to say it's a good thing to lose money.

No dispect to you either, but her clearly says bad for MSFT, how exactly does he know what is good or bad.  Did he do the cost-benefit analysis, did he make projections, I don't think so therefore, how does he know if it's is bad. My point is that you don't grow to be the 2nd largest company in the world making losing decisions.

No disrespect to you but I'm pretty sure he's suggesting it's bad compared to a situation that they were doing well enough to leave the current price the way it was.

So are you under the impression MS hasn't mad any losing decisions? Cause they've made plenty. Making losing decisions though wont necessarily drive a company into the ground and doesn't stop it from reaching #2 in the world. Cost benefit analysis and prjections are great but at the end of the day your trying to predict what consumers will do just like he is doing. If doing all those things lead to success the XB1 would not be in the position it is right now.

To be honest im not going to get into a back in forth with people who probably really don't care to begin with. Overall lets just put it like this, the people who work in finance at Microsoft are alot smarter than people on the board proclaiming to know what will make and lose money (myself included), evident by MSFT climbing to number 2 despite failed ventures. People on these boards think they know more than they really do, all I said was you can't proclaim something is bad for MSFT without knowing all the facts. This is my last response on the matter.

If this is permanent then this is HUGE.

Edit: I just checked amazon and its still $60, is this US only?

w00t,.. i hope sony follows suit. i mean i got like the next 3 years paid on an amazon black friday deal but i think these subs are a bit high on both consoles.

Deals are pretty much the way to go. I got myself 2 years worth of PS+ before PS4 launch for 60€ and I'm riding on that since.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

*looks over at Sony*

or atleast do another $30 PS+ deal on BF
