I really liked this movie. Alot. It was just a fun movie. Yes, it was hit and miss with the critics, but IMO it was a homerun. Now I will admit my expectations were not super high because its trailer was pretty meh.

The movie has made 155 million WW (69m in US alone) on an 81 million dollar budget so its pretty safe to bet there will be a sequel. I dont know how they are going to top Samuel L Jackson and Colin Firth.... they both hit it out of the park.

So, the movie will barely break even.

Not even been out 3 weeks in USA plenty of countries to go and already at over $40 million profit ($210 million WW gross).

Kaizar would be proud of this movie. Too bad it was never converted to 3D.

How did you come to the $40M profit?

I though it was pretty great too. It had some of the best fight scenes that I've ever seen. It's definitely not for everyone though - very over the top and hyperviolent.

it is the new kick-ass... I hope the sequel would be good as well

its at 210 m it will hit maybe 260 - 310 lifetime , tidy profit , should have a cool sequel

Yeah it's an awesome movie. So many iconic moments. And probably the best villain ever.

$210 million WW gross divide by 2 ($105) minus the production budget ($81) is the normal way.

But yes I made a mistake it's $24 and growing.
