There are so much good games which could come this year to the Vita in the west. Digimon Cyber Sleuth, God Eater 2: Rage Burst, Sword Art Online: Lost Song, new SaGa game, new Ys game... Well this all are not "system sellers" but Splatoon or Star Fox are also not "system sellers".

The original Star Fox sold over 4m. This one could very well be a system seller. Splatoon is a new IP so it could go either way. Being a system seller, or not being a system seller.

Now the only one in your list that could be a small boost to sales (all of them are, but I mean a bigger impact) would be Sword Art Online. Otherwise, the others just kinda get added to the library.

The Wii U has lots of good exclusives even though some didn't sell well. (EX: The Wonderful 101) Just because a game is good, doesn't mean it'll be a system seller.

Sword Art Online has already a fanbase on the Playstation Vita, SaGa and Digimon for instance not. Digimon could be very huge thanks to anime coming this year and SaGa was at the time a million seller and could celebrate a big comeback this year. And maybe we will see another new random hit like Freedom Wars (which sold a half of a million only last year) this year, who knows...?

Persona 4: Golden, Tearaway, Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrifice, Final Fantasy X / X2 HD Remaster... This are all great games which the gaming industry loves and will be remembered in 20 years.

SM3DW, MK8, Pikmin 3 and SSB4 are all games which we saw already. Of course these games are great, but we know these games since Gamecube times. These are not new. Only Bayonetta 2 and The Wonderful 101 did something new, both will be remembered in 20 years.

Wait wait wait. Woah. Are you trying to say that Pikmin, Mario Kart and Smash are things we've seen before yet Persona 4 and Final Fantasy X/X2 aren't? The Wii U will be remembered for many more games outside of those anyways. Splatoon, Devil's Third, Wonderful 101 and ZombiU are all new IPs that will be remembered along with classic franchises like Mario and Zelda, and newer franchises such as Bayonetta and Xenoblade Chronicles.

Well, in 20 years from now, what are the games Vita will be remembered for?

GC has TP, WW, MP, SMS, MK: DD, SSBM, RE4, Pikmin

PS2 has GTA III, GoW, Jak & Daxter, Shadow of the Colossus, ICO, Okami

Wii U has SM3DW, MK8, Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2, SSB4, etc.

Persona 4 and Final Fantasy X / X2 HD Remaster are remakes. The other titles aren't likely to be remembered. Tearaway Unfolded will probably be the definitive version of the game anyway.

And I doubt many people will remember TW101 in 20 years from now lol.

Did you even have a Playstation Vita? Playstation Vita has good games as much as the Wii U has, just because they are not that popular like the Nintendo games it doesn't mean that PS Vita has no games.

It's unfair because console games were always more memorable and culturally significant than any handheld games (except Pokemon) and bold talks about quantity.

1. You are indeed biased.

2. Vita trashing is old-hat now. People have moved on.

3. Both systems have received/currently receive criticism for not living up to expectations.

Where is there any bias in my post?

I have only stated facts.

Wii U and Vita are both failures

Wii U has better quality games than Vita

Wii U has more system sellers in 2015 than Vita.

No bias there.

I marked the bias for your reference.

Look at reviews and ask people who have both the Wii U and Vita. Also, look at the games for 2015 for Wii U and Vita. Tell me which has more system sellers. That'll give you some reference. ;)

Persona 4 and Final Fantasy X were the highlights of the series, the Nintendo games were on all consoles equally well.
And I am not saying Wii U won't have games which will be remembered in 20 years, I am saying that PS Vita and Wii U will have both great games which will be remembered in 20 years.

But the point is that Persona 4 and Final Fantasy X won't be remembered as Vita games alone, because they existed before. Mario Kart 8 and Pikmin 3 aren't on other platforms, even though their prequels are. Nobody's gonna think back to the GameCube and say "Hey, that's the console that had Pikmin 3!" because that's not the reality of the situation. I just wanted to point out that flaw in your argument.

Yes, both systems have great games.

3DS: Pokémon X/Y, Fire Emblem: Awakening, LoZ: ALBW, AC: New Leaf, Super Mario 3D Land, Monster Hunter 4U, Youkai Watch, SSB4, Shovel Knight

And I'm not even including definitive versions of games like Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Because that would be unfair. :p

Handhelds don't exist or count on this site.

Pretty much this.  I've have about as much interest in handheld gaming as I do with mobile gaming. Pretty much irrelevant to me.

Battle of the failed systems! lol

Which one will sell more lifetime? It really depends, if the vita continues to be supported until like atleast 2018 then I believe it will sell more, but if not, then the wii u.
