To be honest 20k isnt much for sony or any other coperation.

I would imagine that VGChartzPro probably is a tad more up to date than the main free site. But, that's just a guess.

That's true but they probably won't give it away to an unofficial tracker that adjusts it's numbers to an official one. I could be wrong as I'm only guessing.

That is not very much... You have to pay several people (I guess there are people who work for ioi, right? Or is he the only one?) and you have your monthly costs for the website, domain, server, than you also have to pay taxes. I hope for him that there are more subscribers to the pro service, to be honest. But seeing how bad the ad-services are on the site, I doubt he makes much of a profit and has to get money wherever it is possible.
