Hello VGChartz!

I've finally decided to formally introduced myself!  I've lurked here for a while, and actually joined at the end of last summer, but I have ony been sporadic in my posting.  I hope to become more active, but as a college student, I'm not going to hold my breath.

I love the VG chartz community and website (especially in comparison to the rest of the gaming related web) due to intelligence and courtesy of the community.  I look forward to meeting you all and making new friends.

Some info on me:

I have been a gamer since I was born, when my father tricked my grandmother into buying me a playstation 1(really for him). I grew up on the PS1 with great titles like spyro the dragon and toy story 2.  I then shifted to the gamecube, where I was introduced to mario and zelda(wind waker is my favorite).  The wii, whether you like it or not, probably is the most influence console on my gaming tastes.  between galaxy, skyward sword, excite truck, punch-out, zack & wiki, paper mario, monster hunter tri, goldeneye, no more heros, rhythm heaven fever, wario ware, and super smash bros brawl, my tastes in gaming were developed.   I have since gone on to really love rockstar games (red dead, la noire) and the Batman Arkham games.

I am huge into retro gaming: I collect and regularly play a large collection of games.  I am currently playing little kings story (not that retro) and chrono cross.

I built my own computer, and now am studying computer engineering.

I have beaten Zork I and Zork II and bought black ops primarily to play zork.

Thanks for your time! Looking forward to meeting you all really soon!

It most certianly is.  I love this picture of him.  L. A. Noire Is one of my favorite games, It was just so unique compared to other games, and the Truth, Doubt, Lie mechanic was a lot of fun for me...

Chrono Cross truly is fantastic, I actually did a review thread on the game: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=198301&page=1

OT: Welcome, I'm also a post-secondary student and things can get really busy!

Chrono cross is nice. Hopefully you've played Chrono trigger as well.
Welcome to Vgchartz!

I have beaten Chrono Trigger.  Definitely one of the best games I have ever played.  I finished it late last year.  I loved doing the sidequests at the end of the game and seeing there effects reverberate throughout history.  I'm looking forward to seeing how Chrono Cross connects to it... even though I hear that part isn't the best part of the game...
