NES. It didn't have a template to copy. All it's games were NEW IP. It's the console that all the other consoles followed and it saved console gaming.

Without NES, none of us would even be ON this site... because there wouldn't BE console gaming PERIOD. No Mario, Zelda, Master Chief, Uncharted... nothing.

For that, it's the best and it's not even close.

Nintendo 64, childhood at its finest. Not to offend anyone, but how the hell is the Wii U winning? I get that Ninty fans need to show their support in dire situations, but the Wii U doesn't even compare to other consoles that Nintendo made back when they were in touch with gamers.

I'm now filled with determination.

Yup, maybe at the end of it's lifespan it could be up there but right now the Wii is way ahead of the WiiU.

If we're counting VC games then it's definitely Wii. Lot of great games even from other Genesis, Neo Geo etc!
If not for that it'd probably have the worst library.

The most fun I had was with the N64, but my vote goes for Snes for the better library.

IMHO the Wii U already has a better version of Smash, SS (that one was my least fav so I dont see the WIi U one being worse, but im jumping the gun i know) and Xenoblade (im jumping the gun again I know), Super Paper Mario was worst than the two before. Not a big Metroid fan. Galaxies are great

it is odd how low the Wii is. It wasnt that long ago on this very site that the same thread was made and the Wii was at least 3rd place if memory serves correct, wonder what happened
