Forums - Sony Discussion - 1886 In depth technical analysis, DF can learn something from this guy

I'll give it a view then to be fair. Still, the game, on a technical level is incredible.

The Order 1886 isn't the only technical marvel there is out there ...

The researchers at Nvidia have even more groundbreaking work and to a lesser extent the other players too ...

All analysis got a certain value, cause everyone digs into the bones of the game differently. So i am grateful for these two links, cause i haven't seen them

Oh and those two links happen to be developers @RAD ...

One shows David Neubelt giving a presentation of The Order 1886's rendering pipeline and the other is a collaboration between him and Matt Pettineo (Lead Graphics Programmer) on the slides ...

As I said, I will watch the videos. Not really concerned at the present moment about what NVidia is doing though, unless they are making games.

Don't take that as a slight though. I just don't worry about non-gaming tech demos and stuff, which is usually what I see from NVidia.

I'm also not 100% in a sober state of mind, in case that makes a difference.

It is also hard to understand your posts when everything ends with "...". My mother does the same thing and it constantly causes people to misunderstand her.

Well, it's the first i've seen so far that explains the game and other games details in a far better and deeper analysis then most famous analysis sites cause they are only scratching the surface, even DF. which makes DF seem like a hoax in comparison.

I assure you that DF knows just as much as that guy in the video if not maybe even more ...

Based on my Over 15 years professional Game Programming experience, I doubt this. Perhaps I haven't read the right ones, Which DF Article shows a high level of graphical knowledge. The ones I've read seem to be quite basic.

Just what type of a game programmer are you ...

Anyways, enjoying the game thus far, and so had my daughter and wife. It's straightforward enough in some parts that I can pass the controller to my 5-year old (She likes to walk around during the day sequences and pretend she is talking to the people), although not long after she left to go back to Minecraft, which is another disliked game around these parts.

Excuse me for being inquisitive about your personal life: I do understand Minecraft is popular amongst smaller children. What exactly is a 5-year old doing in Minecraft? Building things, walking around, interacting with friends?
