What are some of the hardest bosses you've ever fought?

Two bosses that stick out for me in particular are Ornstein & Smough from Dark Souls,

and Wily Capsule 7 from Mega Man 7.

I dunno about ever, but the one that comes to mind from the past few years is the Forgotten One from Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. He is an absolute bastard on Paladin difficulty, and it takes for fucking ever to kill him.
