Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Is 900K FW for Majora's mask 3D a success?

Nintendo said that they have sold 570k in Europe and the USA and media create has Japan FW sales at 230k so this adds up to 800k then factor in the rest of the world and the game will be close to 900k. So the question is has MM3D sold as much in it's first week as you expected, has it exceeded your expectations or is it even below your expectations? My view is that MM has been a huge sucess so far especially when you consider that it is a remake of the weirdest most unaccessable zelda game on a system that is slowly declining each year. I think Nintendo will be very happy with these initial sales.

900K is very rarely a failure especially for a handheld game. Props to Nintendo for another success

^, I don't know anyone that's gonna call this a failure.

Because of surprisingly high sales in EU (F***** sold out everywarawere) and those level sales when it's not Holiday season, I say it's very successfully, so far.

Hopefully 3m LF. - only can happen if N doesn't discontinue it like OOT 3D. Damn you N.

pretty bad sales

Absolutely no one is going to consider that a failure.

900k is really good. And when you factor in its a remake from the 90's it only makes it that much more impressive

Damn!! That is awesome! Now if only it could outsell OoT 3d T_T

This is one of those threads where the answer is so obvious that it shouldn't even exist.
