Forums - Gaming Discussion - The Order versus Kirby's Rainbow Curse

Which would you get if your life depended on it?

Kirby - ludology for the win 25 48.08%

The Order - narratology for the win 6 11.54%

Kirby - Lulz, The Order s... 9 17.31%

The Order - Lulz, Kirby h... 1 1.92%

Kirby - If I have to, I'... 7 13.46%

The Order - Kirby might b... 4 7.69%

Total:52

So we all know Kirby has been better recieved critically, and is the sequel to one of the best games on the DS with some pretty awesome upgrade (like co-op) whereas the Order seems to be the recipient for alot of abuse for being centred on being cinematic. Depending on what you as a gamer want their are several stances you could take on either.

They are both different in many ways, but they have one thing in common - they both require and investment of money and (arguably :p) time...

Imagine you had both nessecary consoles; which one would you, as an informed as savvy consumer, get if you absolutely had to get one?

If I also had a PS4, I would get The Order.

Nintendo Switch FC: SW-6340-7643-4233 aka Renji

Steam: Lee Roid

Kirby is a touch screen game. I don't do those, so The Order wins.

Kirby.

The order?, too cinematic, ew. Kirby?, I love you but a touchscreen game?, ew.

If I had to get one I'd go Kirby as it has one positive for me... co-op.

Won't be getting either though, far too many better games out there to be spending my limited gaming time on than either of these.

I'd question how large an indent either would make. XD

Kirby is 7 hrs and arguably the longer one. XD

Kirby because at least I would be able to use it.

He is adorable and plus, according to howlingtobeat.com which I trust, it is about 17 1/2 hourse long for a completionist, so that's good enough for me.  In Kirby games getting all the secrets is the hard bit.

Not a fan of either, but if my life depended on it? Kirby by a longshot.

Even if you asked me this question a year ago Id still say Kirby.
