Hmmm my friend would greatly recommend pikmin 3 and wonderful 101.

Mario 3D World, DKCTF and Mario Kart 8 are my favorite games so far!

You already listed Deus Ex, I also recommend Hyrule Warriors and Pikmin 3. Additionally Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate if you into that sort of stuff.
Digital you should get Costume Quest, Little Inferno, The Cave and Pullblox (Pushmo).

EDIT: And Mario Kart and Smash obviously.

Pikmin 3, Mario Kart 8, Tropical Freeze and 3D World surely.

You can add 3D World, MK8 and Rayman Legends to your list! All three of them are tons of fun in multiplayer!

Personally, I can never get tired of the original 2D platformer so NSMBU is a must for me. Bayonetta 2 is also an excellent choice.

On top of the other games mentioned above, I'd also recommend Child of Light, Rayman Legends, all three of the currently available Wii digital games (Punch Out, SMG2, Metroid Prime Trilogy), Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, Stealth Inc 2, Chariot, and if your in the mood for something very passive, strange, and quirky....Little Inferno. It's not so much a game as it is a commentary of freemium games, but I had a good time with it back in 2012.

SM3DW and Captain Toad are must haves for me. Captain Toad is one of the best puzzle games I've played in years.

Metroid Prime Trilogy.
