I'm expecting mid to high seventies. Which is competent. And I expect trolls to say "lolz flopz" and defenders to say "it should be higher! Trickery!" and blind haters (that aren't trolls :P ) to say "it should be lower! Trickery!" At least I have a front row seat to the circus.

On a side note, if embargoes didn't run so darn long a lot of this drama could be avoided. Unless of course...

Mid 70s would be interesting, coming the day after a Nintendo exclusive gets a 75 meta score. The levels of vitriol in this thread compared to that one, for the same kind of score, would be very telling

Telling us that we accept more things when it comtes to Nintendo ?

It will be interesting to see haters disappointed by thé score way better than Ryse since they expected it to be " the ryse of ps4 "

Instead of that, it will be a good game with a score vert close to Evil Within

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Interested to see the scores, but they are irrelevant to me because the game is already downloaded, ready to go tomorrow, and from what I've seen and read I will enjoy it very much.

More like 75 is a really decent score, and more so if you like the genre. And people trying to act as though a game scoring 75 is some kind of abomination clearly have an agenda.

"Embargo lifts in 5 hours"

Whether or not it was intended, I loled

There have been some quality jokes about this over the past 24 hours

I'm exited.
I'll most likely buy it when it drops in price a bit.

Regardless of scores, it's going to be really interesting to see what reviewers say about it. People who got the game early have had hugely varying opinions, with some aspects of the game getting a lot of hate, and others a lot of praise.

I do kind of hope it gets some good scores though. Would be fun to see how many posts we get in the theme of "Bias! Paid off! Conspiracy!". I suppose that goes both ways though.

Edit: Ha, apparently the Kirby review thread has already digressed into the themes i mentioned, but for negatives rather than positives. Oh internet :p

Plus you get to add another game to your thread.

I do hope to see polar reviews, kind of makes me more curious to read them and see why they are so

3 hours to go

Indeed, 75+ is intended to mean "good". The reason scores don't turn green until that point on metacritic is being they already take into account the slightly wacky review scale gaming uses. I suppose someone could argue that 75 doesn't justify a $60 purchase (when you have other "better" games to buy), but it's still a decent indicator that the game may be worth your time. At what price is up to the consumer.

I do wish people would stop taking metascores so literally though. They have their uses, but ultimately they still represent a generalized opinion. If you want to know if the game is worth it for you, actually read some of the reviews (preferably some at the top, middle and bottom), or find a reviewer you can relate too. Those individual opinions will tell you much more about how you will enjoy it than a metascore, which gives a vague idea of how people in general will enjoy it.
