So what do you want me to look at cause I can't really see them saying it lasted 12 hours or more? |
Looks like they're defending their short playtime by saying "Quality over Quantity".

and some GOW bosses, but the long QTEs are only after you beat them with the games gameplay
except gears of war has multi-player. Amazing multi-player at that.

Exactly! So I am pretty confused as to why he linked me that...

HollyGamer said: So after i saw many people complaint about the campaign length on The Order 1886, i came to conclusion to compare this third person shooter games with the same genre, yup " Gears of Wars" , my first step was going to my friend house yesterday who have Xbox 360, so both me and my friend were trying complete the game, because both of us experience player we finished fast , my friend played on hardcore difficulty under 6-7 hours off course he had more experience then me, and i played for 5-6 hours on casual level and it was the second time i played the game on the same level .So that's was surprising fast. |
It's mostly because It's around 7 hours long with 3 hours of cutscenes and it isn't really worth the $60 price tag. It doesn't have replaybility and multiplayer, and the gameplay is nothing new so you're paying $60 for 4 hours of generic gameplay. Also, the final boss fight was terrible.

Exactly.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

got it, so you trust You tube guy more then Euro gamer. OK. So it depend on people who playing it, it depend on where is this kind of genre towards for. My friend can finish Gears of war fast but did he enjoye it? The person who play the game on 5 hours did he enjoye it?
You are playing the game to beat the time, you play the game to enjoy the game.
The average time on GAF right now is between 9 and 10 hours, mostly in Hard mode. And a lot of those people did it on hard mode and got most of the collectibles in one playthrough. I just don't see this having any replay value.

The fact is The order have both Quality and Quantity, depending on who play the game.

What does that even mean? The article you linked me doesn't even say how long it is... Its just an interview with the developer where it seems that the developer is defending the games short length... Have you even read the article that you linked? And not to mention, we aren't even talking about whether or not its enjoyable, we are talking about whether or not its 12 hours...
