Why does Gamespot hate Nintendo?

Tom McShea reviewed all of them except Tropical Freeze and Rainbow Curse, so he is obviously the root of the problem!

People are allowed to express there opinions, and a handful of harsh reviews doesn't necessarily mean they hate Nintendo.

There are instances where Gamespot have showed Ninty love, for example Bayonetta 2, Super Mario Galaxy and they gave A link between Worlds Game of the Year over the Last of Us (greatest butthurt comment section of that particular year).

Polygon on the other hand...

I wouldn't say hate but rather odd. Like DKTF certainly did not deserve such a low score so I would have to side on the, they did it for clicks more than anything else but I wouldn't call it hate

Yeah, it's probably just for attention, more than anything.

I don't think they necessarily "hate" Nintendo but I do think they use them as their scapegoat for more clicks. They throw their smaller franchises like Kirby and DK under the bus, knowing they'll only upset 1 fanbase and get a ton of clicks from it. Then they give the huge games like Mario Kart, Bayonetta and Smash amazing scores because they can't piss people off too much.

That's just my take.
