Nope. I think Nintendo is the only Japanese developer that will never bring their games to PC.

Whether they will and whether they should are 2 very different questions though...

Semantically both are not questions, just thoughts. And the "should" part doesn't matter. Nintendo will decide their future, no one else.

Anyway, back on topic: If there's one series I want to come to the PC (as Bandai Namco unfortunately decided to ignore Nintendo systems for new entries), it's Tales of. I hope this is real news and not just a rumor.

I like this trend, hopefully it can help in bringing back at least some of the JRPGs that disappeared last gen.

It should be on Xbox as well, digital only or not to maximize profit.

Porting between pc-ps4-XBO is pretty cheap this gen.

this would be perfection

Makes sense, Squeenix had a fair amount of success rereleasing the FFXIII series on Steam, this should fair well too, especially since the graphics in these games are absolute shite, so anyone will be able to run it.

I'm now filled with determination.

Guess Bamco are paying attention to SQEX success and games like Valkyria Chronicles on Steam, good to hear... now that PS4 version.

VC was definitely a success, but Square has had a varied reception. Steam does have the advantage of people willing to buy games despite having zero intention of every playing them.

First day buy for me!!! Man steam is getting a lot of JRPG love lately great time to be a PC gamer .

Hopefully steam starts getting these games at launch instead of really late.  The more people that have access to these Japanese games the better

Well since the is so many other games that it does get at launch And since i look at this more like a late remaster as the saying goes better late then never Unless this game played in 1080P on PS3 i really dont see the need for the slight jab or are you going to say the same thing if they bring it to PS4 too??.

And im pretty sure we will see alot of JRPG's start to launch along side PS4/X1 this gen since JRPG devs now know the is a market there and its so easy to port between x1/PS4/PC.

There is no jab in there.  Not sure why you feel there is. And yes of course I'd say the same for the ps4. Id hardly say goddamnit the ps4 players are getting yet another game.

And yes the pc should see more launch releases because in all honesty sony doesn't feel threatened by then launching on pc. They're not gonna push for exclusivity from a platform that isnt hampering it's sales.

1. 3rd partys know the is a market there for them since the has been great success with the genre so far on Steam.

Evidence ?

Im glad to see you seem to think Sony dictates what 3rd partys do..

Heres 3 Simple reason why we will see more 3rd Party JRPG's come to steam.

1. 3rd partys know the is a market there for them since the has been great success with the genre so far on Steam.

2. They have a Market of 80+ Million users to sell to.

3. Easy to Port between Ps4/X1 and PC means even more market share

Like i said Sony doesnt Dictate where the games go Sales and Marketshare do.

I'm sorry but they have and they do. The lionshare if cash comes from playstation and Xbox.  If Sony didn't want them on pc they'd work out a contract.

Sony as you see by the massive success of the ps4 are not bothered by pc getting these games, often late but if they were they'd do something about it.  Same with Microsoft hence why they are beginning to support pc more.

It's funny how I've gone from making a positive pro pc statement to discussing this with you.
