 thats true. i always hear 360 boys (my friends) saying this and that about 360 games. but there all shooters! well i mean the good ones including multi platform.  cod4, gears, halo, bioshock, crackdown?,

i find it funny that the "3 big 360 games of 2008" ninja gaiden 2 gears 2 and fable 2 are all sequels.

Yea they may be so but the 360 already got almost a 7 million lead on the ps3 and they got pretty decent lineup coming this year maybe not as good as the ps3 but still a good lineup that should move a lot of consoles. I guess it all depends on how well GTAIV does for them. If they do a 75 to 100 dollar price cut 2 to 3 weeks before they release GTAIV and start outselling the PS3 2 or 3 to 1 for a two or three month period the PS3 will be so far behind I don't think they'll ever catch them. Also I don't think sony could afford to do another 100 dollar price cut so soon. They just don't have the kind of money that microsoft has.

PS2 did 45 million in US, xbox 16 so 7 million is nothing especially when you struggle to out sale a competitior that is MORE expensive and NON if its best games are out yet.

- Sony can cut price if they need to, they have cuts costs to the point their gaming division posted profits.

- 360s line up is NOTHING compared to PS3s, and decent will just not cut it. 360 has already milled the shotter fans to death, they lack great games of other genres to move hardware. They lack a diverse game line up to compete with the PS3.

And bud look at Burnout or DMC sales, GTA 360 aint out selling anything by 3-1 especially with GT5p coming out in Europe before GTA. Then 1.5 months later MGS4 hitting World Wide.

 

360 is screwed, MS had a chance but they failed to capitalize.

wii will stay on top ,, its a gurantee  22 , somthing million 360s still under 20 million theres no possible way they sell 4 more million when wii is selling faster then it already,,

ps3 well they risked it by charging us 600 with little to no aaas ,  

ppl think its 08 line up will out do 360 thats total bs theres only one or 2 games in the mix for 08 that look to be any good thats driver 5 and mgs 4    ,gt5 is another one but theres already better racing games coming , wiis line up alone kills ps3s,

ssbb mariokart wii distruction day of crisis house of the dead 2 and 3 im sure they got a fzero up their sleave a new zelda a new donkey kong game a new kirby game  timesplitters 4 second sight 2  this line up makes sonys line up all but disappear ,,

Ah but you forgot about that little juggernaut called the Wii. The PS2 was able to sell 45 mil in the NA market because the had all the casual gamers pretty much to themselves. This generation the wii has taken all their casual gamers away from them leaving them to fight it out with the 360 for all the middle of the road and harcore gamers. And we seem to be heading into a little recession here in NA. we loss something like 60000 jobs last month. In recession times when people are struggling to make their mortage payments their going to be looking for a bargain. So if they want to play GTAIV they'll probably choose the console that is 100 dollars cheaper and has exclusive content that you can't get on the ps3. So it wouldn't suprise me one bit if the 360 starts outselling  the ps3 by 2 to 3 to 1 if they do the price cut that every one is predicting that they will. Now I'am not saying the PS3 can't catch the 360 in NA I'am just saying it will be very hard for them it will probably take 2 to 3 years and by then Microsoft will be releasing it's next generation console.

 

I'd say middle of 2009, unless a miracle happens for the 360, and they get a non-Halo fanbase to support them. Anything could happen.
