Fixing.

I work for a telecommunications company in an underdeveloped country and even here, the demand for faster and more reliable internet, will make government and providers massively invest in infrastructure.

Even in developed countries the infrastructure cannot support online-only gaming.

Right now ?  Definetely not, but in a half a decade it will.

The amount of services that require streaming from the cloud is increasing fast and this is just the beggining.   Internet connection quality will evolve much faster than most people imagine.

Always great news to hear when a company has a plan going into the future that will yield profitability. With the PS4 being at the epicenter for of their future plans (i.e. PlayStation Vue, PSNow, etc), I hope that goal sees the light of day and yields success! :D

Think about 5 years ago. I don't think the infrastructure changed all that much.

Kaz has clearly not heard that The Order is only 5 hours long. Else he would not be making silly statements about a comeback.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Shrinking down a bit to make profit finally. Not bad,

I wish I could travel to the future to have a sneak peak on if it fails or is a success.

The next Playstation will not be a cloudbox, anyone who thinks so is insane. The PS5 will not have an optical drive though it will be download only

Oh wow! Good luck to them. As long as they are profitable its good, even if they're making a tiny profit.

Well mobile is their only really bad division anymore right? I mean even TVs weren't that bad in their last report from what I remember. Now Spiderman is probably going to make more than ever with Marvel helping and they don't have PCs dragging down profits. Playstation is back to profiting and that's at the beginning of the cycle. It's only going to snowball the userbase (and the PS+ and software that goes along with that) from here. They seem to really want dominance so I wouldn't be surprised if they cut to $300 this year now.

Sony is also planning to "spin out" some more areas into their own wholly owned subsidiaries, in the way it did previously for SCE. TV and mobile are the first expected targets of this, with some expecting at least one of these risky and embattled sectors to be sold off entirely in the way that the Vaio PC business was. Management structures are also expected to undergo some "realignment" in order to improve accountability and efficiency.

What makes the TV buisiness so risky? I never understood that.
And I like Sony's TVs. =/

Risky in the lack of making money part.
