Yes I will be buying. I see a lot of comments about the price, but what exactly makes any game worth $60.

The amount of content plays a role when playing 60 U$ for a game. It seems like the game can be finished in a short period of time, somewhere between 6 and 10 hours, and since it is a story driven game, once you finish it there is not too much reason to play it several times. Some people will expend a lot of time and replay it several times, but it seems like the exception, not the rule. The conclusion is that there are other games in which they could spend those 60 U$, and will rent it, lend it or buy it but at a reduced price.

When people don't have too much money to spare, they look for those options that can provide the most out of their limited budget.

Yeah I understand that, if you are on a budget and need to be careful in what you buy, you want to make sure you buy a game that will last you a while and you leave the maybe's until they go down in price.

For me, I have lots of games that I still havent played from last gen, actually a game that is around 8-10 hours is good for me, especially as I like to dip in and out over a couple of weeks. I have enough games that last 20-30 hours already (I buy lots of open world games), dont need more to add to my list. :)

Single player only game so I preordered on my usa account. $59 which works out as 52€ although at the time I preordered it was €40. Pretty good deal for me!!

Don't you hate how Dollar gained strength? In just a few months, the games got almost 20% more expensive.

Still cheaper than in any EU store, but not by a big difference anymore.

Yep, getting the Collectors Edition.
Mainly playing RPGs and starting to feel the need for a shooter for a change.
Planned to buy wolfenstein but never got around to it.
Love the setting and hope for a decent story.

I'll play it when is free on PS Plus about 3 months from now

No. Apparently the length is around 6 hours or so without even rushing through it, and 4 hours of those 6 are cut scenes and QTE scenes LOL.

Will either Gamefly or Redbox for what seems like a quick and easy platinum.

Even with the short play time, great gameplay or a great narrative would have kept me interested but it seems this has neither.

Six hours without rushing? 4 hours of cutscenes and just 2 hours of gameplay? Where did you read this kind of information?

At some point I will, but not Day 1.

I will defo pick it up, just probably not at full price.

From the guy who uploaded the play through everyone is discussing.

He says:

5.5 hours to finish (was his first time, did not do a "speed run". You can see him dying and doing a little exploring in the videos)
3 of those are apparently cut scenes
1 of those are QTE's
That leaves 1.5 hours of actually playing the game, which I rounded up since he's going off memory and might be off a little.

It's bizarre. This game was in development for four or five years and they produce a title with around 2 hours of real gameplay apparently. Honestly makes me wonder what others could possibly be doing to be taking 9-12 hours on their playthroughs without even collecting everything.

Of course not.
