It was a fun game for sure but definitely not GOTY material. Theres no way it could compete with the likes of Dragon Age: Inquisition, Smash Bros. U, Bayonetta 2 etc.

You can't compare those games.

That's like comparing soccer, basketball and baseball to each other. They're sports but that's where the similarities end.

Now, pit Ttanfall against COD, BF, TMCC and Destiny. I'm a Halo fanboy but TF passed TMCC last year on fun factor (MP wise).

The multiplat version of the game is going to sell pretty game when part two comes out. EA will definitely fund it enough to get a storyline. I just recently purchased the whole package for $12. I should turn it on and start playing.

Lived up to every morsel of hype and more for me personally. Well over 500 hours on it. Taking a break for Evolve, but I know I will pick it back up when Last Titan Standing is calling my name. Can't wait for the sequel.

But no, Titanfall doesn't need any single player. And it would have been nice for it to launch with the rank system, horde mode, new modes, and all the other stuff since launch. But then it would have come out in like... November instead of March. I think all three companies involved were eager to push it out and see the potential of the IP. Obviously EA is satisfied. Beat their expectations, a sequel is coming.

I personally just tried "campaign" on Titanfall for a mission and never touched it again.
MP was addictive enough to make me forget an eventual cliche story.

Wait did you seriously compare splatoon to a dude bro FPS like Halo COD TF and a TPS like gears and then tell someone they can't compare those games???? Goats???

I do like ninty but I hardly think it has any major appeal with the dude bro FPS fan crowd...

MS can easily restore their dude bro fps image with a minimum investment compared to the potential return it could generate even if TF2 was super expensive... The thing is I'm not sure they want too... But it is largely in their grasp...

I said Nintendo will have the same amount of shooters as MS by releasing Splatoon.

Also, I said you can't compare Mario Kart to Titanfall. That's it holmes.

MS will gain a lot of traction by just keeping COD image associated with Xbox and release Gears 4.

But it has to be compared to those games if it's gonna have a shot at a GOTY award.

I think it should be game of the year in their respective category.

So Shooter of the Year then?

Damn straight.

Well I don't know about GOTY but it definitely would have helped if it had a single player campaign.

Can't get enough of that super saiyan coach there XD.

OT: Well there is always part 2 and I think on one more platform, who knows, it might get it this time.

Nintendo Switch FC: SW-6340-7643-4233 aka Renji

Steam: Lee Roid

An awesome campaign, local multiplayer, and all content at launch would've made it the best exclusive of the year

XBOX ONE/Wii U/3DS/PC
