Forums - Sony Discussion - The Order 1886 complete playthrough.(Updated) -The Order 1886 has replayability according to an interview-

For games that you buy, how long should that game's duration be? Depends on genre of course.

Minimum 8hrs+ 198 83.19%

Minimum 8hrs- 39 16.39%

Total:237

Well, he was rushing and it wasn't 5 hours long. It was something like 5 hours 45 minutes+ I think. So nearly 6 hours.

I'm also through the game so far and it took me 8 hours, nearly 9 and I think if you really are rushing through you can beat it in nearly 6. I'm no slow player at all but yeah, first playthrough took me nearly 9 hours. Wish it would be more because the game itself is pretty nice =/

Been watching it, you can see that theyve put a lot of love and effort in to the game. The quality of the voice acting and motion capturing is 8/8 no h8. Too bad I dont have a ps4 so ill just keep watching lol

Yay!!!

Depends. If it's a $40-$60 game, then it should be more than 8 hours so it's worth buying for.

We have now many impressions about the game and there are things that are ridiculous by the devs. It even seems they ran out of time in the end given how the last third of the game is done.
Also GAF user rapier who was used in another thread, taking his opinion as a positive, now posted on GAF about the story and this is the exact opposite of “positive“.

Why is it you go into every single thread about The Order to downplay it? I'm honestly curious. You don't own a PS4. It's clear you don't like Playstation. So why spend so much time and energy on a game that you're probably never going to play, on a system that you have no interest in? You did it earlier with Driveclub and it made no sense then either. It's like it gives you personal joy to see negativity for game that isn't on your console of choice.

I am not downplaying it, I am retelling what others who actually played the game, have to say about it. The question is: why are you even bothered? Don't you want to hear negative criticism about the game? Then you have to read posts by other users which everyone should know the names of. But then you get a one-sided story, of course. This is what you want? Then ignore my posts, I will not stop to share experiences.

And yes, I don't own any next-gen system and I am still undecided what to buy but this doesn't mean I can't talk about the games. And I probably played more Playstation games than the majority of users here, I don't know what you are trying to put up here.

Driveclub? Well, I actually played DC at Gamescom and didn't like the game and in the end reviews agreed with my experience I had with this game. But I wonder why you ignore the fact that I especially liked Bloodborne and never said anything negative about that game which I also had the chance to play. In fact, it was the best game I played at Gamescome. Doesn't fit in your picture about me, right?

If I were poor a 10 hour play through would bother me I guess. I am not poor, and I am busy, so the thought of 10 really good hours of gaming is actually more appealing to me than 50 hours of collecting shit with a mediocre 10 hours story campaign.

So if you are poor stick to F2P MMOs. Not being harsh I used to be poor and I stuck to games that would last me months. I would not have gotten this back then.

That said what I have heard nothing about is what incentives the game gives you for another play through, do you unlock a harder mode? Do some trophies require a 2nd play through?

It's not a legitimate video. You should note that in the thread title and OP before the misinformation spreads even worse.

We're looking at a ~12 hour game, here.

Edited OP for you :D.

Thanks. :3

One of my best experiences with a video game is The stanley parable, so 5 hours is enough if the game is greatness. But sometimes greatness awaits, so we'll see. I'm worried about the cinematic aspect of the game, I'm playing TLOU for the first time and although the game is cinematic, you're controlling the game.
