Dark Souls - Over 300 hours!!!
Well, I didn't put much time into it, but after playing morrowind years ago and enjoying it I thought I'd try daggerfall, which is horrible. No one should ever try to play it, it's fucking ridiculous, but technically speaking it would easily have been the longest rpg I ever played had I actually put forth the effort to tame that ridiculous beast of a game.
Hard to say. I got 90+ hours on Persona 4 Golden, but I don't know if I didn't beat that number with the original Phantasy Star on Master System.
Would have to say World Of Warcraft if you can include mmorpg. If not then I would possibly say Skyrim.
the fallout and skyrim games. I've never actually finished a fallout game all the way through.
If you're talking abotu the RPG I've spend most time on, it's Dark Souls with over 300 hours. Runner-up is Fallout: New Vegas, with somewhere along 200 hours.
If it's longest by itself (no replayability taken into account), I'd say Final Fantasy VIII. I was a kid, but damn thing took me months.
It has to be the Elder scrolls games. They can just go on forever, especially once you start modding them.
Oblivion: 430+ hours
Skyrim: 310+ hours
Morrowind: 100+ hours
I also play most Bioware and CDProjekt games multiple times.
In terms of pure single play through campaign/story mode though:
Dragon Age Origins 60+ hours to complete
Dragon Age: Inquisition 80+ hours to complete
Final Fantasy VIII 100+ hours to complete (I made sure to do everything before the final boss)
Including MMOs: Dark Age of Camelot
Not including MMOs: The one I spent the most time playing is FFVI
Longest according to howlongtobeat.com: Baldurs Gate II
