Forums - Gaming Discussion - What is the most difficult level/mission you have ever played?

As you all know I'm a nintendo gamer and for that reason the most difficult level, or star I should say, was the Dare Devil Comet on the Grand Master Galaxy in Galaxy 2.

I died around 30 times before beating it. How about you? What is the most difficult level/mission you've ever played?

The toy airplane mission in San Andreas. I fucking hated it. My brother had to beat it.

Too many to count. Champion's Road in SM3DW, Mummy Maze Me Forever in Captain Toad, Living Dead Party in Rayman Legends, the final boss of Resident Evil Revelations, the final boss of Pikmin 3, every stage in Super Meat Boy, etc.

Don't know how I forgot about TF. Yeah, that whole game was nuts. Especially the K stages and bosses.

I am struggling with the Neo Bosses on Rogue Legacy right now lol

Some of the Bonus Star levels in Mario World... Those levels are made by satan himself

Mission 35 of Driver 2, I believe. It was a chase in a mountaineous area, with the objective being to destroy the chased car. The problem? Several. If I didn't fall, I would wreck my own car instead. That, or the target would get away due to me having to drive cautiously. I still don't understand how I could pass that mission. I was stuck at it for years. Literally.

God of War 1. God mode. The ending room of pandora's temple. Now I'm not great at hack n' slash but there was one extra caveat. I had NO magic. So there are explody arrow archers, unblockable dive bombing harpies that seem unlimited, and you're fighting on alternating direction conveyor belts that end with steamrollers. I tried it probably 100 times. I had used up my magic in the previous area THINKING I would get a regen before one of the hardest and most climactic parts of the game. Guess what? It never came as all they gave me was health beforehand which I had PLENTY of!

Also the archers' arrows stick in surfaces and explode through them so if they miss you can still get hit at a totally random time by a detonating arrow that was on the other side of the thing you were fighting beside. Then you'd be stunned just long enough to hit a steamroller and die almost instantly. If I had had some poseidon's rage or hades' army to get the harpies off my back while I destroyed archers that would be fine but GOD DAMN I didn't have anything and was thoroughly screwed until I finally beat it after crying, raging, reasoning with the game, plotting out physics equations of the perfect spot to stay in, and consulting various experts including Stephen Hawking, Tom Hanks, Batman, and Peyton Manning. Then my brother restored our PS3 when I was at Ares and all was lost. Depression.

Yes I know there are a ton of no magic playthroughs on Youtube and I'm sure Bayonetta and DMC have way harder sections but I only play GoW for hack n' slash and never play on the hardest difficulty (usually the hardest one needed for the trophies) so yeah I suck at them but really wanted to beat that for some reason.
