Sega today announced that since its release on 2012 Phantasy Star Online 2 has over 1 million downloads on PlayStation Vita, and combined with its retail number is at 1.2 million so far.

It is the most downloaded game on PSN on Vita and an overwhelming success or something (Google translate confuses me)

Note: This is NOT 1 million copies sold, just one million downloads, the game's been free on PSN for quite some time already, that's where most of the downloads happened.

Still, pretty impressive for a Vita game.

Fantastic, if Star Nova could sell just half of this... :/

Many have suspected this is the reason Nova's sales are somewhat underwhelming. 

Now if only they could bring this to the west and double that number.

PC, PS4, PSVita release would make a killing.
