Also no way Toby is returning at 40,
and Garfield is confirmed to be out.

5 films later we've seen a lot of peter. I'd happily see miles give Spiderman a new lease of life. Donald Glover comes to mind, I dont actually know if he can act bit he looks the part lol.

Presuming we're sticking with peter I'd say the Logan guy. The other suggestions like josh would be cool bfor a stand alone Spiderman film but would look to child like to fit with Avengers

The recent spiderman movies are so bad that i can only hope they go back to Tobey or cast someone new.
Please... no more inconsistant spidey. Garfield is supposed to be portraying a geeky kid, but instead is super cool guy with style and girlfriend. It does not make sense!

Because Peter Parker is essential to his character. He is both Spider-Man and Peter Parker, it's part of the reason why people like his character so much. That'd be like having Superman but not showing Clark Kent.

Because Peter Parker is essential to his character. He is both Spider-Man and Peter Parker, it's part of the reason why people like his character so much. That'd be like having Superman but not showing Clark Kent.

but its not a spider man movie and to be honest he is so annoying after 5 movies with the same old boring drama...

They need to hit reset, just like they did with Hulk. Do NOT follow up from or pay any attention to those "Amazing" movies. And by this point, Toby is getting too old, even if he wanted to play the role again. They can find someone else who is more Peter Parker than the others have been.

 

Now if only they could make a similar deal with Fox, and get X-Men and FF back, and wash THAT garbage away too. If only.......

Oh you're talking about the cameo appearance? I agree in that his face probably doesn't need to be seen. In his solo film though, it's impossible not to show his face.

At first I got confused and thought of Danny Glover.  I thought it was a crazy suggestion.

At any rate, they should not go with Miles Morales.  Not that I have anything against Miles, but they need the original Spider-man in the cinematic univeverse.  Once he's established it may be interesting to get Miles in there, but there's no way that they can have the Marvel Cinematic universe without arguably their most popular character represented. 

I actually wouldn't mind McGuire being used depending on what Spider-man they chose to use.  If they wanted to go with the youthful Spider-man, obviously not.  But, if they wanted to use Spider-man as the seasoned veteran/occasional mentor figure that he's become, then I think Tobey could be used for that role.
