Tobey Maguire is still the best actor that fit with Spiderman character for me. It's like Superman with Cristopher Reeve or Christian Bale actor of The Dark Knight Trilogy movie.

The only REALLY iconic characters in their roles do not include Bale since there have been and will be a lot of Batmen throughout the years.  Hugh Jackman has played every big screen wolvie (SEVEN times!), RDJ is a cornerstone of the MCU and the most popular hero actor today in cinema.  Christopher Reeve you're right no one has come close to him the last guy was just good not great or iconic.

Tobey Maguire x1,000,000

I can't see it any other way, which is why I dislike the new movies. That and because it was just completely stupid why they decided to reboot; all because Sony Pictures wouldn't agree to Sam Raimi's request to push back SM4's release date...

inb4 people implying morales with black/latinos cast options

I want morales to come eventually, but i NEED peter parker in MCU.

Origins again though....?!

I would rather see Tobey come back and do it.

Honestly, we don't need another Peter Parker origin story. I say Miles Morales. As for who, Donald Glover is too old. Someone new.

If they want to treat Spider-Man as a pre-established character (which they definitely should in Civil War), I say Maguire. They don't have to pretend that the first three Spidey films are part of the MCU, but everyone is familiar enough with Spider-Man's backstory at this point that they don't have to go over it again. As for the solo movie, then you bring in a new actor. If they use a new actor for Peter Parker in Civil War then they can do that again. If they go with Tobey then they could try something other than Peter Parker in the solo film.

Something like that.

Either way I really, really don't want to see Uncle Ben being killed again. I've seen that story play out one too many times already.

Also the villain of the solo film should be Kraven the Hunter, that would be awesome.

You right about Huge Jackman , the most character that fit to Wolfvie. But i guss most of Xman Live action has been delivered best, i am amaze with all the actor in Xman.

I agree with this... They need to follow up on one of the existing Spider-Man movie story arcs to continue onto civil war... the last thing Marvel needs is to incorporate another like Miles Morales side story to an already complicated arc like civil war...

I would love to see Miles Morales in his own movie someday though

John Boyega

Andrew Garfield obviously, his storyline is more in sync with the original comic book: "The Night Gwen Stacy Died" & "Green Goblin's Last Stand" which is the best arc in comic book history. The original movies never had that "insult to injury" -tragedy element.
