I suspect Hardline might sell fewer than they'd hoped, but won't be surprised if I'm wrong there. Otherwise... not too sure. People just seem to buy most big titles this day almost as if they feel obligated to.

SHOULD bomb? Well, no game deserves to bomb normally (there are exceptions like Sonic Boom). Some will bomb, some won't. Now I think the proper question is which games do you BELIEVE will bomb. Personally, I am on the fence for Mairo Party. It is bound to sell over 1m. But will it be a system seller, or will it be another Mario Party 9? If Final Fantasy 15 lets us down like FF13, then it deserves to bomb too. So. Really, you can't decide if a game deserves to bomb until after it is released.

I think Evolve and Battlefield: Hardline are the two most obvious choices to bomb.

You aren't one of the few. It recently got 30k pre-orders this past week and has a total of lke 48k. That's pretty good. I suspect it'll have at least between 120k-150k pre-orders by launch date with lifetime sales in between 1.5m and 2.5m.

It's a generic shooter. ( There is nothing wrong with one or two generic shooters a year but sometimes enough is enough )

Others Reasons which will lead it to flop though include that it is horrible advertised.


How is it a generic shooter exactly? Name 2 games similar to Evolve.

The Order will not bomb but will be lacklustre, and fable legends will bomb badly unless it reviews very well

I haven't been folllowing it closely but from what I have read the criticism seems to be,  that it has no real story very few characters but lots on the way in the form of  paid dlc , so it's been called a made for dlc game , there might have been more but thats what I read.
