Forums - Website Topics - [Staff] The Monthly Ban Report - January 2015: I Have No Name For This Edition

I'd like to know... Is FW still making alts? Or are we free of those users that make houndreds of alts (for now)?

EDIT: Very well then. I jinxed that. I take all responsability.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Is there a way to know how many users are on VGChartz

Go to the home page of Gamrconnect then log out. If you want to subtract that number from banned users you can go on the banned users part on the "Members" section.

Can't wait for The Zelder Scrolls 3: Breath of The Wild Hunt!

Console wars without flaming is as much fun as wrestling without violence.

“Simple minds have always confused great honesty with great rudeness.” - Sherlock Holmes, Elementary (2013).

"Did you guys expected some actual rational fact-based reasoning? ...you should already know I'm all about BS and fraudulence." - FunFan, VGchartz (2016)

It says on th 'Forum Index' page.

Right now it says, but this includes alts and spambots so the real number of members is much lower.

Wow. Would never have guessed that many guests compared to members...

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Sometimes when the illusions and hype are too thick, name calling (aka flaming) needs to happen in order to help those under false impressions to wake up. Most of the articles on this site are hype articles, fanboyism, unrealistic predictions, and calling someone a 'sony pony' is a good wake up call.

Moderators take notes and stop acting like soulless police bots.

I would brag that I have never been banned. However, having posted something like 150 times in just over a year I am pretty sure that is not overly impressive. To my credit I am not one for doing the things that might get one banned though. No energy for console wars or being argumentative on these internets. :D

On topic: As a former former owner/administrator of numerous forums I did want to say that I like that you guys strive for transparency. I know that proved to be a very successful model for me and the users I served. So, good job guys.

Wow, I could have typed every word of that post myself. Creepy! Except that my post count is a bit more than yours.

But yes, I echo everything said here about transparency. I've administrated and/or been on the mod team of various boards, and transparency is always the best policy in my experience.

criticizing Nintendo is now "trolling" , heh
