he only issue i see with offscreen recording on handhelds isthe jerky nature of the handheld moving around out of frame, and the screen glare being an issue.
Might be better to just emulate the older handhelds to solve the recording issue really, though I am happy/willing to exploire video output mods for all handhelds.

I suppose for GB/GBC i can use my SNES and SuperGameboy cart, and for GBA I can use my GC with GBA player, or just potentially all of the gameboy stuff on the gameboy player.
