I don't think there are enough wii u's in Japan to sell more than MK8+SSBU.

I don't believe you understood what he said.

As big as each? Maybe. Bigger than both? No. Smash and Kart are two heavy hitters so beating both would be bonkers in any region, even Japan.

Percentage Increase Week Over Week

Mario Kart 8:  214% Boost

SSB WiiU:       196% Boost

I think XCX will be bigger evenif slightly^

Like i said before, SSBU was released during holdiday too, so its fair game at least between those 2.

So, are you saying it will give a week over week boost bigger than Mario Kart and Smash Bros combined? Percentage wise? Or raw numbers? Because that's 22k. Pretty unlikely.

That doesn't seem like an especially good way of judging system selling power, anyway. Xenoblade will do very well if it sells 200k copies lifetime. I don't think there's much question that over the long haul Mario Kart and Smash Bros will have shifted more Wii Us.

Won't even push more systems than Pikmin, I'd guess.

MK8 Week: ~10k boost
SSBU Week: ~12k boost

So Golden Week/DQX 3.0/XCX Week for Wii U will have to go from something like 4-5k to 26-27k.
It will be close I guess, I'm also thinking Wii U can hit 20k that week.

Prediction: End of 2015 Hardware sales (as of January 20, 2015)

Wii U: 12.1M | XBO: 19.8M | PS4: 36.0M | 3DS: 58.5M | PSV: 11.7M
