You're missing the Prime series. The second and third game still count as full-fledged games. Even Hunters was a huge hit on the DS

There's also been a Zelda game every 7 years starting the first game, and 11 years starting Zelda II, so we should have another two Zelda games in 2021 and in 2020.

Imo the best solution would be a twilight princess situation. Release it end of 2016 or 2017 along with the next Nintendo home console. A Wii U only release would be a waste.

the theory doesnt work when the years become double digits, so im afraid youre wrong about the 11 years one.
