Another point, RC Cola made by the Dr.Pepper/7up company is not worldly popular as Coke or Pepsi but they still make it. Why? It's making them money maybe not as popular as Coke and Pepsi but it is still being made. Like I said worrying about beating the other guys every generation just ruins your business. I think you missed his point.
He is not saying it is bad to enhance sales. He is saying it's bad to avoid the market on purpouse and that if you are losing money per unit sold, selling more isn't a win.
