If Sony were to announce a price cut, it'd be a done deal. There'd be no stopping the PS4 from soaring to crazy heights. I guess is going to wait and see how long this ball will roll, and then come out on stage, maybe at PSX or E3 2016, and simply say 299 into the mic. Just like E3 1994. There doesn't seem to be a justification for a $100 price drop just yet, and there probably won't be one for a while.

Last time Sony announced WW numbers they were UP YoY.

Even down in US/Japan.

BTW it is only down in Japan due the launch week (309k)... PS4 may be up in Japan in about 3 weeks

These quarterly shipments report will be really interesting.

Are we expecting a better November this year?? With the pre ordered bundles for cod and SW plus 299 for black friday you'd imagine so.

It's undertracked by a good million, so it's probably very up yoy.

This will get an interesting holiday season, considering how close those numbers are. Will pass 10 Millions YtD next week btw, unless it's getting adjusted up.

Also intersting to see how the almost 1 million advantage crumbled in just a few weeks to practically nothing
