For those who don't know Monty Oum, he worked at RoosterTeeth on a lot of things including Red vs Blue.

Here's a Kotaku article with a bit more info. A few days ago Monty was hospitalized due to a severe allergic reaction. Fans raised over $180,000 for his medical care over the weekend.

RoosterTeeth held a podcast dedicated to Monty. The final 3 minutes are a tribute video of both Monty and his work.

Wow. Didn't expect that. I really enjoyed his work though.  RWBY was really enjoyable and he was great at choreographing the fight scenes.  I felt that he had so much more to achieve.  RIP
