Capcom Ready for a Big Comeback in 2015

Capcom is working on a big comeback in 2015 after undergoing a restructure in 2013 and laying low in 2014, according to MCVUK. Capcom planned a slow period to work on upping the quality of their games, due to the releases of the new console.

Capcom will be releasing fewer games and they will be spending more time to develop their games. They are more flexible now that the team sizes are smaller. The teams are now motivated to prove themselves to the industry.

"The chairman of our company realised that we weren’t trading on the seal of quality we used to, so we decided to rejig development but do it at a time when the new formats were coming through and install bases are low," said Capcom’s commercial director Andy Davis. "Well, that was the theory, no-one saw those consoles coming out of the gates like they did."

"We had a more rigid structure back in the day, harder to adapt and less flexible," said Capcom head of marketing Antoine Molant."Today we are leaner, and that means the same team that deals with the development in Japan also directly deals with the market, and they have an understanding of all aspects of marketing, sales, development etcetera. And that makes us stronger."

I believe in them!!

Make a new Mega Man with the Smsh Bros. design - heck, remake all 10 of the classic Mega Man games with the Smash Bros design, and I'll believe you, Capcom.

could this mean that Street fighter is a 2015 game?

Mega Man i assume?

Monster Hunter Vita and I will believe you Capcom.

Just release a new Ace Attorney game in the west, that's all I need.
And Mega Man too, but that's obviously not gonna happen, right?

Konami and Squenix also sounded very confident about this generation so I really hope they do get Japanese games back on the spot light.
