Glad to see The Order holding well. I'm seriously enjoying this game, much more than most games that I purchased within the 6-12 months. Just a shame that I'm in Chapter 9 and it will be ending soon.

I loved Destiny as well, and that game too received lots of negative criticism.

I enjoyed Destiny as well; the same goes for Watch Dogs. I feel people have too high expectations going into games and then end up disappointed, especially with new IPs.

Some people like cinematic games.  I don't want most games to be like the order but it will be a sad day when they die out.

Exactly how I feel.  Do I want ever game to be like The Order?  Or Heavy Rain?  Fuck no.  But, God will it be a miserable day in gaming when EVERY action game is open world with a ton of repetitive subquests that have nothing to do with the story.

Same goes for Driveclub.  That game took some harsh critism.  Some of it was deserved because of the online feature was buggy.  However, the critism thrown at it because they chose to make an arcade racer, and not an open world one, was not.  And I'm sure many who talked about that as a big drawback, since it was so "last gen" took off a few points, as well.

It's quite ridiculous, really.  They want games to be different, yet seem to also want them all to be open world.  Sorry, but somtimes I don't want to spend hours upon hours exploring a huge city, just to finish an objective.  Of course, not saying that sometimes I don't want to do that, just not always.

Exactly.  You always get haters going on about how it's not like this game or that. I play a ton of mainstream games like battlefield,  assassin's creed,  gta, uncharted etc etc.  But I like a bit of variety.  In the last 12 months I've thoroughly enjoyed metro redux,  Wolfenstein and the order.

See? I told you that those bundles affect the rankings of the bundled items. X1 controller and Wolfenstein shot up. Wolfenstein from 753 to 23 and controller from 26 to 8. And X1 ahead of PS4 for the first time in many weeks. That is one crazy bundle.

And hey! The X1 is finally over the PS4 in the hourlies. I guess it took another free game and a free controller get it over. Calculating the cumulative value of those 3 free games and 1 controller, I got ~$140 so you're basically getting an X1 for $210. I checked in other retailer and it looks like this is an Amazon-only deal.

On another note, why is the PS4 version of Final Fantasy Type-0 so far ahead of the X1 version? The PS4 SKU is #17, but the X1 version is #356... o.O

Is that an actual question?

To be honest, I did not expect that huge of a disparity.

The vast majority of the loyal FF fans is still on Playstation. You need loyal fans to sell the spinoffs to. X1 is currently selling most of their consoles to their loyal fans which traditionally do not contain many JRPG fans. Whoever wants to play JRPGs this gen will get a PS4 fo that, seeing how Japanese devs will limit themselves to PS4. I'm expecting a big disparity between FFXV SKUs as well.

Just checked: FFXV PS4 #996, X1 #2319 in hourly.

Damn, I'd say that those reports of overstocking over the holiday were true.  Amazon seems to have a lot of stock they are looking to get rid of if they are giving away that kind of bundle.
