I much preferred the actual FF7 to Xenogears :p And in turn FF9 much more than 7. I'd take XG over FF8 any day though.

I think it's just a cute way to show off the graphics from up close without boring the audience. I doubt it will be in the final game, but who knows.

They showed control of a frog first, then a dog and now a cat. I'm starting to think this will be an ability or a magic spell.
Wouldnt be excited, we've been able to do this in other games before,so its nothing new

7, 8, and 9 are all great. They mark the golden era of Final Fantasy, but Gears was a freaking masterpiece so I'm going to have to disagree with all (but 8).
I'm a huge cat lover, but FFIX still remains the best!
