and when someones console of choice wins america... you get, absolutely nothing :O

hurray! lol

Although we're on a sales site, I'd have to agree with this. In the grand scheme of things, how does the impact my life? It doesn't. Sad thing is, I know it makes people sad and depressed when their favorite console isn't winning. I wont name any names but a certain user in this thread has suffered from that. If a console war is messing with your emotions I think it's time to take a step back and examine what is really important in life. Just my two cents.

Anyways the fight for america will be an interesting one to watch. PS4 could very well win the USA, I wouldn't call it an easy win though. Sony has done so many things right this gen, it would be deserved.

Halo isn't what it once was, both brands(halo and xbox) have been damaged.

Can you elaborate on that?
Other than having MMC being bugged (but selling very well for an HD remake), I do not see what can make you affirm that?
If you look at the last full game, Halo 4, and same timeframe sales, maybe Halo 4 is not the beast that Halo 3 was but it is certainly NOT a decline compared to other versions, so other than you personnal fillings, I'm curious to see how you came to this conclusion...

Same goes for the Xbox brand by the way, as the Xbox One is doing very well compared to then Xbox 360 for instance.

Edit: Oh you are another of this alts, so I guess this post was not serious. My bad.

halo 5 will do little to nothing for the xbox one. it's nothing compared to what it once was. anyone who wants halo 5 has an xbox one by now, of course there's probably a few people waiting until release to buy it, but other than that i think halo 5 won't boost xbox one sales at all.

Agian, this is a random statement based on nothing :)
By the way, not saying Halo 5 will reverse everything but saying that it will not help, is wrong imo!

It all depends on: (the current popularity of Halo) x (How much more MS can cut the price of Xbone) / (The popularity of various Sony exclusives) x (the effect of PS4 pice cut) = ???

So the real question is: How popular is Halo at the moment? Remember:Titanfall wasn't big enough.

What exactly is this even based on? MCC?

Everyone doubted Halo 4, and even when its quality (subjective BTW) goes down from pervious iterations, it still sells incredibly well.

And saying Halo 5 won't boost Xbox One sales is just flat out wrong.

halo 3 sold nearly three million more than halo 4, and halo 3 came out when the xbox 360 had an install base of only 12 million compared to halo 4 coming out when the xbox 360 had an install base of more than 71 million. along with the fact that the master chief collection was and is still a broken pile of shit and halo 4 is said to be the worst halo game ever.

What the hell are you talking about lol? Halo 4 is far from being the worse game and MMC was broken but fully playable (only issue was with matchmaking).
Now the way you are calling the last 2 Halo games tells me that there is no point of debating anymore...

People are ignoring the fact that when holidays arrive, the difference in hardware between Ps4 and X1 will be high enough that the competition between Halo 5 and Uncharted 4 will be nulified...

EDIT: Difference in Hardware Sales

Im not an alt I am only here because I was banned from neogaf for making a very bad joke towards ubisoft. I will probably leave once my ban ends in 10 days.

XBox without a doubt has been damaged as a brand here. Otherwise it shold be kicking ps4's ass. Halo has also been damaged. The online issues and 343 are what caused it.

lol i don't even care about halo, so i wouldn't know which is the best or which is the worst. everyone i've talked to in real life and on the internet have told me that halo 4 is easily the worst one. mcc can't be broken and be fully playable.
