I think we could see something like this for Nintendo's next-gen devices.

Spring 2016-Nintendo Fusion handheld launch, Animal Crossing big launch title.

Summer 2016-Luigi's Mansion 3

Holiday 2016-Nintendo Fusion console launch, 3D Mario big launch title

Spring 2017-Mario Kart 9

Summer 2017-Twilight Princess HD

Holiday 2017-Pokemon Gen 7

These will be the real big titles released every few months with a bunch of smaller support titles mixed between.

I still think smash will be the next hh/hc launch title(or both)

Dragon Quest 11, Metroid 5 (if not on 3DS), Monster Hunter 5, and Pokemon will all release the first year for the Nintendo Handheld platform, and will be playable on their home-console in 2017.

That's probably too soon, the next devices will most likely release in 2016 or 2017, I just can't see Smash Bros being ready by then. Holiday 2018 is possible tho.

the last was 4 or 5 years, is time to a "new" nsmb game.
kid icarus next
animal crossing.

Surprised no one's mentioned a new Zelda. Nintendo did confirm that they were thinking about a new handheld Zelda around E3 last year. Maybe you guys are thinking the new handheld Zelda will be for the 3DS?

Your 2016 -2017 ideas is horrible. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Let it not happen pls Ninty. 2018 spring is perfect.  2016 way way too early and 2017 a little to early. 

 

 

My perfect Launch Lineup:
>20 shovelware titles
>5 good-great 3rd party titles
>Pokemon main series game
> new Kid Icarus OR Metroid game
> Zelda remake- preferably Windwaker cos ya.
>Mario Spinoff
>Warriors game.
> Nintendo new ip. Even if small just like Steeldiver was.

Pokemon will make sure it has a amazing start for it to seem cool and the rest will make a great Day 1 choice. (if XL version is available.)

Likely a new IP, and some remakes. That's all I have for predictions.
As for what I would actually like....
-Mario Kart 9
-Fire Emblem
-A Mario platformer- Fairly creative please, no New Super Mario Bros. or Super Mario 3D Land/World.



Lifetime Sales Predictions 

Switch: 151 million (was 73, then 96, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million)

PS5: 115 million (was 105 million) Xbox Series S/X: 57 million (was 60 million, then 67 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

Indeed, Nintendo will have no presence whatsoever in some territories if they held out til 2018 for the next system.
