According to report coming out from our friend at A9VG, Metal Gear Solid Creator Hideo Kojima at Taipei Game Show 2015, has just announced that release date of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain would be revealed soon.

In addition to this, Kojima at the same stage event stated that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes will launch exclusively on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in China.

This means, Kojima continues to play with emotions of Metal Gear Series creator when it comes to release date of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. How soon could this announcement be made? here is the list of some big upcoming gaming event, where the announcement could be made.

I could see the release date being revealed at the Playstation event in Feburary.

China as in the country China or China as in Taiwan & Hong Kong?

PS4's launch in China is delayed and Sony hasn't even planned on releasing the PS3 in China either.

On Feb 13 Playstation is having an event I guess. I doubt it'll be anywhere near the scope of what PSX was.

Good for us Chinese gamers! DQ Heroes, Sword Art Online, Samurai Warriors, Jojo's Adventure etc also announced Chinese Version in TGS.

But yeah, it's definitely not going to be as huge as PSX since I think Sony will be focusing more on PS services (e.g. Now, Vue, partnership with Spotify, etc.). However, we may get a surprise announcement or two.
