Forums - Gaming Discussion - Square Enix somehow involved in Street Fighter V

Look below the SFV logo, it reads "2013 Square Enix all rights reserved"

A9VG showed the picture and asked Mr. Ono Yoshinori about it in the interview. He replied that, though the picture has been showed in Westen, but it's the first time people spotted and asked him about that. He can not confirm or reveal anything about it for now.

Looks like they needed some help publishing this time.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Surely Capcom can't be in such bad condition that it can't publish one of it's own cash cows?

Sad day.

Sad day.

Do you want it to be the other possibility?^^

Street Fighter V comes with a free download of FF7 PC PS4.

Uh oh.... Might be some guest characters.

I like to think that the background in the SFV logo is somehow related to whatever SquareEnix is going, can't point it to something though.

Its interesting that the copyright says 2013, is that when SFV started development?

2013... I mean I know these games take a long time but I think that the game is much further along than we know. Actually maybe not. The way I see it, the PS4 launched in 2013 and Sony had been hinting at SF5 before the launch.

Now, if memory serves me correctly, I remember him tweeting about a deal with Sony back in September, October, of 2015. So production is only about a year and a half in.

However, like most of you, I have issues understanding Square ' s involvement.

Tifa will be a new character
