i would be more interested in Indie games if there were more that focused on making 90's Style JRPG games, but i only know of one studio that really does that(Zeboyd Games) most of it is just not interesting to me/failing to keep my attention for long.

Most of my favorite 7th gen games are indies, so no, I believe that any game has the same potential as long as it's given the necessary care.

I used to, thinking that all Indie titles were either pretentious, poor quality or both. Boy was I wrong, there were a number of gems in the 7th gen, and my favorite game from last year was actually an Indie title!

Interesting responses, though I would inherently believe those that respond are the ones that naturally play indie games (hence why I added a poll... albeit a somewhat sarcastic one).

Despite us forum-goer internet peoples being a minority, it is nice to see many responses giving respect to indie games, though!

If a Indie game says Hello to me, I answer. But I will not beg for their atention, if that is what you are implying.

I don't and I think it's dumb to ignore them. They are a fast growing group with a lot of creative ideas and they are just going to get bigger. There was already some really good ones that sprung out, like Shovel Knight. I would like to play more of them, but just don't have the time... : (

love 2d plat games, and with all these indies(and wii U games) i feel again on snes era again. the best gaming memories came from it and are reviving.
