The user will sound like the avatar. For example, for Xander, he sounds like Dante, and not like himself. For those people with avatars with no voice actors that I know of, they will either sound like an actor, or sound like one of my parents.

As for people with anime characters as their avatar (such as my own), if they have an English dub as well, would you hear it in the dub voice or the original Japanese voice?  Or do you watch anime at all?

I watch anime. And I don't really want to hear engrish so it's usually the English dub or the Abridged dub. Who's your avatar, by the way?Nut when the sentence I'm reading I know how to translate to english, then I will hear the Japanese dub.
